Tony's for Sunday Brunch

Last October 5, 2014, we went scouting
around Crestline for an alternative to the
Bear House for brunch. We gave up on the
Bear House because they are way stressed
out at that time. They turned seated
customers away without filling orders, and
actually filled coffee cups half full when the
kitchen couldn't keep up with the load.
The only alternative in Crestline we could find was Tony's Kitchen.

And what a great alternative it turned out to be. They
were not busy at 10:30 am on Sunday, and can easily
seat our party of 10 to 20 people. We wanted coffee, so
they made a fresh pot of gourmet brew, and served it on
a napkin. The morning was warm and sunny, so we sat
in partial shade on the patio, and it was like vacationing
in Cancun. I ordered steak and eggs, and Carol ordered
a chorizo burrito. Both dishes were delicious, and nicely served. The ambiance was as relaxed as Sunday
mornings should be.
The menu has recently been changed to add American fare like ham and eggs. If you prefer, you can still order from the regular menu, and have Mexican dishes like machaca con huevos.
Please join us at La Cocina de Tony at 10:30 am for Sunday brunch. It's usually on second Sundays, but check the calendar for exact dates.
