on the true story of Maud Lewis, who
struggled with personal limitations, yet
became a beloved Canadian folk artist.
The film has won numerous awards in
film festivals, including Best Picture
Vancouver International Audience
Award. Tomatoes gives it a critic's score
of 88, and audience approval score of 93.
