The Big Short is a true story about
investors who recognized the
impending 2007 financial bust at a time
when hardly anyone else did, and chose
to go against the grain. The film won the
Academy Award for Best Adapted
Screenplay. It stars Brad Pitt, Christian
Bale and Ryan Gosling. Tomatoes gives
the film a critics' score of 88, and a

Movie Night is also a potluck. Carol is fixing the main dish. Bring a side dish, salad, drink, or movie snack to share.
Arrive any time after 6 pm. Food is served at 6:30. Movie starts at around 7:15. Those who wish can stay just for the dinner, or just for the movie, or both.
