Movie Night Feb 13, 2016
Presumed dead and left on Mars, NASA astronaut Mark Watney has to find a way to stay alive and contact Earth. Getting home is a very, very long shot. A trailer is here.

The film has been nominated for six Academy awards in 2016, including Best Picture and Best Actor. It won the Golden Globe award for Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical. The list of nominations and awards goes on for another three or four pages!

The film was released in theatres last October, and will be available on DVD this Feb 9. That is 4 days before our next Movie Night. I think Netflix can get it here in time.

Please join us on Saturday, February 13 to watch
The Martian.

Movie Night is also a potluck. Carol is fixing the main dish. Bring a side dish, salad, drink, or movie snack to share.

Arrive any time after 6 pm. Food is served at 6:30. Movie starts at around 7:30. Those who wish can stay just for the dinner, or just for the movie, or both.

The movie will be shown on DVD at Don's place. A map is below. Call (909) 744-8561 for more information.
