Their website says: "best Mexican food in
Skyforest." To me, that seems overly humble,
especially since Hortencia's is the only Mexican
restaurant in Skyforest. I'd say it's a tossup
between Hortencia's and Tony's for best
Mexican restaurant anywhere on the mountain.
Hortencia's is really excellent. It has become a
favorite stop of mine.
Prices are humble too: Salads cost around $8; plates range from $10 to $14; burritos are $5 to $8; taco's a la carte are $2.25.

and the staff can easily assemble a banquet table
seating 20.
